CENTER FOR CLINICAL ENGINEERING AND BIO-EQUIPMENT – CEC
The Center for Clinical Engineering (CEC) is responsible for the management of medical and hospital equipment, composed of the Administrative Support, Technological Support, Electromedical equipment Workshop, Precision Mechanics Workshop, Warehouse Equipment (special pieces for equipment) and Clinical Engineering of the Emergency Care Unit.
The functional strategy of CEC through the cutting-edge clinical engineering is to optimize resources of the technological park aiming at new technologies, reduction of the number of breaks, reduction of maintenance costs, increase of availability and durability of the equipment, as well as indirect benefits that bring calmness, confidence to the doctors, managers of the institution and patient safety.
