Professional Master’s Degree in Medicine
The implementation of the Professional Master’s Degree in Medicine was motivated by the need to improve the training of resident physicians, in order to meet the demands of the current job market of professionals with critical analysis of scientific and technological production in their area, knowledge of public policies. health, and autonomy in the management of their professional performance. In short, it has as its general objective the development of skills and competences that enable the physician to modify and improve health practices.
The Professional Master’s Degree in Medicine, recently approved by CAPES, is aimed at physicians who have attended or are regularly enrolled in Medical Residency Programs recognized by the National Commission for Medical Residency. The faculty is composed of physicians from different areas of medicine – Anesthesiology, Clinical Medicine, Surgery, Physiatrics, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Health and Family Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatrics and Psychiatry. The teachers have a solid technical-scientific background, associated with health care practice, with experience in the organization of services, establishment of clinical protocols and development of new technologies in Health.
