Collegiate
The Committee of the Advisory Board is responsible for defining the basic guidelines for the activities of medical and hospital care, research, cooperation with the teaching of FMRP-USP, University of São Paulo, and the provision of medical and hospital services to the community by the HCFMRP-USP, in addition to other responsibilities described on the Institutional Regulation.
The Planning Committee is responsible for proposing the basic guidance of the planning of the activities of the HCFMRP-USP, in addition to other responsibilities provided in the Institutional Regulation.
The Research Committee of the HCFMRP-USP, related to the Clinical Board of the HCFMRP-USP, advises the centers of the institution on the establishment and coordination of research policy, establishes standards for the research implementation within the Institution that will come into force after the approval of the Advisory Board, and monitors the compliance with these rules.
Research Ethics Committee (REP)
The REC analyzes and ethically approves a research project that involves human beings, inside or outside the General Hospital of FMRP-USP.
Medical Ethics Committee (MEC)
It has supervisory and educational functions for the ethical performance of medicine in its area of coverage.
Nursing Ethics Committee (NEC)
It has educational, supervisory and advisory functions of the ethical professional practice of Nursing at the HCFMRP-USP.
Medical Residency Committee (COREME)
The COREME supervises along with the preceptors, the activities of the Medical Residency at the HCFMRP-USP; it also provides the guidelines regarding the selection of new residents and evaluates the accreditation of new programs and renewal of the existing ones.
Committee for Professional Improvement Programs (COPAP)
The COPAP monitors, together with the supervisors and collaborators, the operation of the non-medical professional improvement programs in the Institution; it also provides the guidelines regarding the selection of the candidates and assures the accreditation of new programs and renewal of existing ones.
Interinstitutional Research Council
It integrates the research policies of FMRP-USP and HCFMRP-USP and monitors the development of institutional research programs, as well as other responsibilities provided in its Regulations.
Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (PTC)
It advises the Hospital Management on the elaboration of guidelines for the selection, standardization, acquisition, distribution and use of drugs, and pharmaceutical supplies in the HCFMRP-USP Complex.
Analysis of Records and Deaths Committee (ARDC)
It annually defines the improvement goals and their strategies, always seeking quality along with the Permanent Education, thus developing technical and scientific activities, to support the knowledge relevant to the Institution.
Information and Communication Technology Management Committee (ICTMC)
It advises the Superintendence and offers technical support to the planning of incorporation, maintenance and shut-down of technologies in equipment and consumables, considering the general guidelines of management indicated by the Hospital.
Permanent Processing Committee (PPC)
The Permanent Processing Committee is responsible for carrying out the investigation and conclusion of an administrative process related the HCFMRP-USP employees, who perform acts foreseen in article 482 of the Labor Relations Code – CLT, after forwarding to the Superintendent or the head of office.
Bidding Process Committee (BPC)
The Bidding Process Committee shall judge the preliminary qualification, the registration, amendment, cancellation, and the bidding process.
Committee on Antimicrobial Use and Control (CAUC)
The purpose of the General Hospital of FMRP-USP regarding the rational use of these drugs for anti-infective therapy and prophylaxis. For this purpose, it continuously analyzes the qualitative and quantitative use of antimicrobials, establishing protocols and organizing a list of antimicrobials of special and controlled use. It also evaluates the adequacy of the prescriptions of these drugs and provides advices
Intra-Hospital Organ Donation and Transplant Tissue Committee (IHODTTC)
It organizes, within the health center, the organ donation protocol, creating routines to offer the relatives of deceased patients the possibility of donating corneas and other tissues and it is connected with the teams in charge of the brain death verification, to ensure that the process is prompt and efficient, within strict ethical standards.
Multidisciplinary Technical Committee of the Oncology Service (MTC)
It advises the HCFMRP-USP Higher Administration in the elaboration of treatment protocols, organization of outpatient and hospital care, implementation of diagnostic procedures and in the monitoring of treatment and in the hospital registry of cancer.
Transfusional Hospital Committee (THC)
It monitors and promotes the quality in hemotherapy practice, thus promoting continuing education, aiming at the improvement of the transfusion practice; it also selects, monitors and discloses quality indicators in transfusion.
Hospital Infection Control Committee (HICC)
Its main purpose is to standardize care practices and support activities regarding the prevention and control of hospital infections, making the Hospital safer for the patients, employees and visitors.
Maternal Mortality Committee (MMC)
It creates strategies to reduce maternal mortality rates from preventable and probably preventable causes, discusses cases of maternal death at the Institution, and promotes continuing professional education to improve care.
Internal Committee for the Prevention of Accidents (ICPA)
Its objective is the prevention of work-related accidents and diseases, in order to make life-long work and the promotion of workers’ health compatible.
Committee on Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition Therapy
It adopts measures aiming at the Indication and Prescription of Nutrition Therapy. It also plays an advisory and educational role.
Internal Committee for Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism
It establishes protocols for the evaluation of the risk of venous thromboembolism of patients hospitalized at the HCFMRP-USP campus and Emergency Unit care; it also establishes protocols and ensures the suitable use of measures and medications in these Institutions, with a prophylactic purpose, aiming at clinical efficacy and minimizing the onset of thromboembolic complications.
Radiation Protection Committee (RPC)
It systematic reviews the radiation protection program to ensure that equipment is used and procedures are performed in compliance with current radiation protection regulations and recommends appropriate measures to ensure the safe use of radiation-emitting device in the Institution.
Document Evaluation and Access Committee (DEAC)
It acts as interlocutor of the State Public Archives Unit, of the Civil House, through its Department of Management of the Archives System of the State of São Paulo.
Its main purpose is to standardize the assistance practices and support activities, regarding the prevention of accidents with sharps with biological risk.
Working Group on Wound Prevention and Treatment – Wound Group
It establishes systems for the detection, reporting and analysis of wound patients; it also establishes the management in an integrated multiprofessional and multidisciplinary way; it also promotes the participation of the different professionals, users and their families in the formulation and implementation of programs of prevention and treatment of wounds.
Health Products Processing Committee (HPPC)
It defines with the CME the products for health that can be processed in the institution or that should be sent to outsourced services.
Integrated Center for Humanization (ICH)
It promotes discussion and exchange of experiences of the institution’s daily life in order to encourage, formulate, implement and monitor plans of action in humanization.
Structural Assisting Teaching Center (TASC)
It advises the coordination of the programs in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the theoretical, theoretical-practical actions and practices related to the program’s development, proposing adjustments and changes when necessary, promoting the institutionalization of new management processes, care and training in health.
Internal Committee Programa Hospital Amigo do Idoso (CIHAI)
It establishes the Programa Hospital Amigo do Idoso of the General Hospital of the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto – USP in agreement with the Health Department of the State of São Paulo.
